MISSION: Children Have And Model Positive Peer Skills
Our fifth graders have a special opportunity to work under the guidance of their parents and teachers at Seaside to make their last year memorable and meaningful. Decades ago, CHAMPS was started as a way for our 5th grades to become leaders as they transition to middle school, promoting responsiblity, while learning to work toward a goal (end of the year party). There are many events during the school year with volunteer opportunities and each one is presented as a "parent-student" duo.
